Friday, June 4th Could there be a new nest?
Well, we went for our nest check and once again I am happy to report no sparrows nests were found. The nest is ALL green grass and in a bowl like a purple martin makes!!!! While I was there, three martins sang and were very social. I checked on the eggs and then promised I'd be back tomorrow. I look forward to your opinions on this mystery nest when I post a pic tomorrow!

I love your blog and that you are going to follow this summer even though the kids are on vacation. I'm dying to see more pictures of the nest and the new babies when they arrive.
ReplyDeleteMy observations from Saturday morning: Adult purple martin hovering around and landing on big white condo. Both the south and the west side. Sparrows hopping around on pods but didn't see any go in.
